A thriving section that is proud of its reputation for friendliness. Our buddying system for all new members, whether a complete beginner or an experienced golfer, means that you are guaranteed a partner to help you get to know everyone and to help you find your feet. If you are new to golf, you will be helped every step of the way to learn the ropes and get your initial handicap, if you want one! Whether your interest Is mainly competitive golf or social golf or a balance of both or whether you have only time for 9 holes rather than 18, Charnwood can offer it all. Members also enter various prestigious external and County competitions with some recent successes.

Our members play a full role in the club, participating in the social and management aspects of running the club, as well as getting out to play. There are ample opportunities to play in mixed events, trophy competitions, friendly and league matches and also fun competitions.
We also organise golfing away days and hold an annual overnight trip to other clubs in the Midlands and these events are always very well supported and enjoyed by all.

  All members of the Women's section make every effort to make all new members welcome and will always offer support where needed.  With members of all abilities enjoying their golf at Charnwood, there is always time for coffee and homemade cake, lunches, afternoon teas and social events in the clubhouse.
